Lakefront Condo Redesign

The Brief

The clients, a young professional couple, had recently purchased a lakefront condo with stunning views but a dated interior that didn't match their lifestyle. They wanted a space that felt modern and inviting, perfect for both quiet evenings and hosting friends. The goal was to open up the floor plan, introduce natural materials, and let the lake views take center stage.

The Approach

We started by stripping back the heavy window treatments and dark cabinetry that blocked natural light. A neutral palette of warm whites, soft grays, and natural oak became the foundation. Custom built-ins were designed to maximize storage without cluttering the open plan. Every material was chosen with intention, from the honed marble countertops to the linen upholstery that softens the clean lines.

The Result

The finished space feels like a completely different home. The living area flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining space, with the lake visible from nearly every angle. The clients describe it as the first place that truly feels like theirs, a space that works as hard as they do and looks effortless doing it.
