Westfield Family Home

Westfield, IN

The Brief

A family of five had outgrown their home's original layout. With three kids under ten, the spaces needed to be durable, functional, and beautiful. The parents wanted rooms that could handle daily life without sacrificing style. They were tired of the builder-grade finishes and wanted something that felt intentional and personal.

The Approach

We took a room-by-room approach, starting with the main living area and kitchen. Performance fabrics replaced delicate upholstery. A custom mudroom was added near the garage entry to contain the daily chaos. In the kitchen, we swapped laminate counters for quartz and introduced open shelving to make the space feel larger. Each kid's room got a unique color story that reflected their personality while staying cohesive with the rest of the home.

The Result

The home now works the way the family actually lives. The open kitchen has become the gathering point for homework, cooking, and conversation. The mudroom alone transformed their morning routine. As the client put it, not one person objected and they truly all loved it.
